Keating Election
     We have just finished our Keating election.  Andrew won president and Haley won vice-president.  Sophia also ran for president and Morgan ran for vice-president.  We did it for social studies, the election was to know what a real relection was when we get older.  We gave speeches and voted.
      The Keating Kids 1-6 voted on the best candidate.  You had to be in 3rd through 6th to run for office.  It was a close election.
      The President and Vice-President help make decisions on a lot of things.  They choose what we do for point parties, for field trips and maybe even PE.  Keating's elections were at the end of October and beginning of November.  The election was held at Keating School.
      We learned a lot from the Keating election.

     Last month, october, Keating Kids displayed art at Crossroads.  This month it will be up at the District Office.  You will see coil baskets, they are beautiful.  You will see scratch art, our mood paintings, the tree photos of us, and leaf rubbings.
